Two-minute check before a call
- Hair and make-up done in Mirror mode
- Switch to True to see what others see
- Light in front of you, not behind
- Camera at eye height
- Head and shoulders in the picture

Why close the mirror first?
On some computers, especially Windows, a camera can be used by only one app at a time. If your call app says the camera is busy, close this tab. See camera not working.
Questions and answers
Will others see me flipped in the call?
Many video-call apps show your own preview mirrored, while the other people see you unflipped. In Zoom, for example, the Mirror my video setting only changes your own view. Use True mode here to see the orientation they see.
Does this mirror use my camera during the call?
Only while this page is open and the mirror is on. Close the tab or leave the page before the call; on some computers only one app can use the camera at a time.
Where should the camera be?
Roughly at eye height and an arm’s length away usually looks most natural. A camera far below your face looks up at you.
