Your camera picture never leaves your device.
Short version: the camera picture and any photos stay in your browser. We never receive, store or upload them.
Camera
The browser asks for permission when you press Start mirror. If you allowed it before, the mirror may start by itself. The picture is shown by your browser only. The camera turns off when you leave the page. You can withdraw the permission in your browser settings at any time.
Photos
Take photo creates an image in your browser tab. It is only saved if you press Download, and then only to your own device.
Cookies, ads and tracking
The site sets no cookies and has no ads, no analytics and no third-party scripts. The notice at the bottom of the page tells you this; when you press OK, that choice is kept in your browser’s local storage so the notice stays hidden.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect against attacks.
